First deviation from me in a little while and it's a fricken stamp?! Sorry, I got a little sidetracked, but do know I'm working on stuff!
It annoys me when people, especially younger individuals (but anyone really) consider maturity to mean you can't have a sense of humor. Just because someone may act like a 'goof' online or around friends, doesn't mean they're stupid or childish. If someone can't be comfortable around their friends or online where there are burdens of society (to a degree) then where can they be?
So chill out, people. You're gonna give yourself a heart attack. :\ You know what makes a person mature? Understanding people, so try it sometime
PS: Feel free to use :3
Serious people will get some disease sooner than persons who have a lot sense of humor....
I don't understand why someone have to consider funny and laughable things childish - then laughing is childish people? Come on.....
Everyone needs some fun at times - or you'll become an old fart ;D
I mean, I draw something funny with her characters, and she gets mad saying that I drew them or portrayed them wrong, and that I've offended her.
Sometimes I take things too seriously though, not humor and stuff, but sticky situations. I tend to be really intense 0-0.
I adore being goofy and having fun though ;'D I used to know someone who wouldn't act fun and silly in public. It made things pretty lame. D':
I'm iffy on the whole maturity thing, because someone may seem a bit immature in some ways, but that doesn't mean they're immature as a whole...? Not only that, but moods affect behavior greatly, so I have a hard time claiming someone is immature based on a particular event...
Nice stamp. It's an interesting topic.
And yes I wholely agree with your points :3
Maturity is definitely something that's different for each
individual, I believe it's something measured by a person's
sincerity and understanding, not just intelligence or attitude.
Aw, thanks! My comment was a bit messy, but I was just trying to get my thoughts out. I really appreciate you bringing it up, because I haven't really thought about it before and it is a very good point.
Yeah, it definitely depends on the individual. I think most things do, really, but people have to generalize everything. *sigh* I understand why they do it, but it's still frustrating.
I tend to enjoy playing devil's advocate with people who try to 'educate' me
Some people are just beyond help
